Description
I was so surprised when I visited the beautiful Dolliver Memorial Park on Friday. When I parked the car, I saw hundreds of smaller butterflies all over the park. I pulled over in a parking space and did not have to wait long and they were flying right next to the car and on the car! It was so awesome and so much fun to watch them. They were fast and did not sit still in one area very long. As I was looking at the photos, I noticed I had never seen one of these types of butterflies. I took several photos with my long lens and then carefully stepped outside. I was taking photos when one landed right on my finger! I was so shocked and excited at the same time! I carefully backed up about eight steps to the car, opened the door and shuffled around for my iPhone. I didn't have a small enough lens to use for a close-up, so I did what I could. God blessed me on this short and awesome adventure! I took about five short videos and hundreds of photos in four different areas of the park. My friend and I looked up what type of butterfly it was in her butterfly book. Thank you, God, for all your nature and an amazing day walking with you!
