Description
Out and about birding Friday, late afternoon, when I spotted this Barred Owl sitting on a fence post. It was so motionlessl I overlooked it at first glance. It was so beautifully camouflaged with the grove of trees behind it. After I took some photos I thought I would try to get closer before it flew. I made it about twelve steps before he flew and landed on the other side of the road where he perched to give me a few more chances to capture his image. The photo was taken near Dolliver State Park in Iowa. The Fine Art America Watermark will not appear on your purchased artwork.
