Description
This small and very delicate damselfly is an important link between the health of the aquatic ecosystem and its response to climate change! Because they are so tiny, they are difficult to spot. While walking along the shoreline of Lizard Lake, I noticed little blue flashes in the grass. I bent over to get a closer look and saw this little male damselfly that I almost stepped on because they are so tiny, and he was so low to the ground. It's unbelievable how these tiny and fragile little insects are even able to move around on a windy day without being blown completely away! As I looked around the area in different locations, I noticed there were hundreds of them all over the place! They are fun to watch! The Fine Art America watermark will not appear on your purchase.
