I was driving around with my friend and she said she wanted to show me a beautiful yard. Wow! She wasn't kidding! It was so beautiful, pictures don't do the sea of blue flowers justice. The yard was real big and there was a small hill that rolled down into the grove of trees. Of course I had to stop and take pictures! I talked to a neighbor and he called the blue flowers Russian Scilla. In the research I did it is also called "Spring Beauty", Siberian Squill or Scilla Sibereica. The plant is native to Russia and Eurasia. I enjoyed how the noon sun cast dark shadows from the trees on the beautiful blue wave of flowers.
