Artist's Description
Dappling is relatively common in gray horses and less seen in other colors of horses, such as bays or chestnuts. Light and dark areas form a dappled pattern of dark rings with lighter hairs on the inside of the ring, scattered over the body of the horse. A large majority of dapple greys will turn white in color. This only occurs gradually, depending on the horse. They are very beautiful. Thank you for visiting my Gallery! I love capturing special moments with my camera and sharing them with people. I was raised on a farm in Iowa and even though I live in town now, I'm still drawn to the open spaces in the country. Usually to relax and rejuvenate I will turn on the first gravel road I see when I drive out of town. Of course that changes all the time.
