Description

On a stormy day in downtown Fort Dodge, Iowa, the sky turned a dark ominous color. It was like someone turned off the lights during the day. Then all of a sudden there was a bright light on all the buildings. It was so amazing! Only God could put on a light show like that! There was such a stunning difference between the dark sky and the light on the buildings, it was an unbelievable sight! The Fine Art America watermark will not appear on your purchase.

When I lived in the Midwest, I used to love the dramatic contrast between the dark storm clouds and the bright sunlit fields. This brought back memories! Great capture!

The town looks like a miniature set up.

Thank you Yuri for your view and comment! I appreciate that. I would not be able to pull off a miniature set up that looked that great. I was actually in a building a block and half away from this scene that I took the photo with my camera, from the seventh floor of another building, looking out the window while watching the dark clouds roll in. It was pretty amazing and I had not seen the sky get that dark before. It was kind of scary but I wanted to get at least one shot.
