My trip to Omaha was awesome. When I got to town I met with my niece and we drove to the Chalco Hills Recreation Area and went for a walk in different areas. It was an awesome place to walk and a beautiful day! Eventually the full moon came out and the sun was setting. The geese were flying by as the colors splashed through the sky. Wehrspann Lake, a 245 acre area, is in the recreation area. It was another unbelievably beautiful sunset! Thank you for visiting my Gallery! I love capturing special moments with my camera and sharing them with people. I was raised on a farm in Iowa and even though I live in town now, I'm still drawn to the open spaces in the country. Usually to relax and rejuvenate I will turn on the first gravel road I see when I drive out of town. Of course that changes all the time. I blow with the wind and if there isn't a wind I go where and when I feel the urge to turn. I do stop for barns, horses, old farm machinery or old trucks and cars. I really enjoy chasing the light of sunrise or sunset! I just started birding in the last couple years and enjoy that as well.
