Description
Driving to Greene County to Dunbar Slough, we were hoping to witness a rare bird to Iowa, a Wood Stork. Even though we were not able to see the stork, we did see plenty of other wildlife. We Watched this beautiful Great Blue Heron stalking around the pond looking for food. This heron is considered the largest in North America. The Great Blue Heron can be seen in marshes, shores, swamps and is very adaptable. It eats mostly fish but will also eat frogs, snacks, insects, rodents and other birds. The Fine Art America Watermark will not appear on your purchased artwork.
