Description
The day I visited Beemer Pond, outside Webster City, Iowa in Hamilton County, there were hundreds of water fowl on the pond or flying around it. It was a very peaceful day and I sat there for over an hour taking photos and watching the beautiful Trumpeter Swans, Snow Geese, Canadian Geese, and Mallards. The pond operators on donations to feed the water fowl and also to operate the two aerators running during the winter months to keep the pond open. If you stay long enough to observe the coming and going of the water fowl, you may also catch a glimpse of other wildlife visiting.
