Dappling is relatively common in gray horses and less seen in other colors of horses, such as bays or chestnuts. Light and dark areas form a dappled pattern of dark rings with lighter hairs on the inside of the ring, scattered over the body of the horse. A large majority of dapple greys will turn white. This only occurs gradually, depending on the horse. They are very beautiful. The Fine Art America watermark will not appear on your purchase.

I was raised on a farm in Iowa and even though I live in town now, I'm still drawn to the open spaces in the country. Usually to relax and rejuvenate I will turn on the first gravel road I see when I drive out of town. Of course that changes all the time.
