The Hoover Dam is a beautiful sight from the air. The dam is located on the Colorado River between Nevada and Arizona. The Hoover Dam is a concrete arch-gravity dam in the Black Canyon. It was constructed during the Great Depression and was dedicated in September 30, 1935 by President Franklin D. Roosevelt. All images are subject to copyright laws and may not be used, altered or duplicated in anyway without written permission from the artist, Kathy Krause.
