I was setting in the parking lot by the silo at Loomis Park and waiting for some beautiful light to shine on the 3D mural painted by Australian artist, Guido van Helten. I was patiently waiting when I saw movement not far away in the trees. Four does were walking around the area foraging for food on this foggy cold day. Thank you for visiting my Gallery! I love capturing special moments with my camera and sharing them with people. I was raised on a farm in Iowa and even though I live in town now, I'm still drawn to the open spaces in the country. Usually to relax and rejuvenate I will turn on the first gravel road I see when I drive out of town. Of course that changes all the time. I blow with the wind and if there isn't a wind I go where and when I feel the urge to turn. I do stop for barns, horses, old farm machinery or old trucks and cars. I really enjoy chasing the light of sunrise or sunset! I just started birding in the last couple years and enjoy that as well.
