Sometimes driving through small towns you find something very special. While on our way to an outing in McGregor, Iowa, we passed through Maynard. Very short main street but amazing architecture! Towards the end of main we looked down a side street and saw this awesome 1936 Chevy high cab truck. Of course we had to stop and take photos. Wonderful and fun day on the road again!!! Thank you for visiting my Gallery! I love capturing special moments with my camera and sharing them with people. I was raised on a farm in Iowa and even though I live in town now, I'm still drawn to the open spaces in the country. Usually to relax and rejuvenate I will turn on the first gravel road I see when I drive out of town. Of course that changes all the time. I blow with the wind and if there isn't a wind I go where and when I feel the urge to turn. I do stop for barns, horses, old farm machinery or old trucks and cars. I really enjoy chasing the light of sunrise or sunset! I just started birding in the last couple years and enjoy that as well.
